Battery Recycling Startup BatX Energies Raises ₹105 Crore in Series A Round Led by IvyCap Ventures
New Delhi: Battery recycling startup BatX Energies has secured ₹105 crore in a Series A funding round led by IvyCap Ventures, marking a significant milestone in India’s rapidly growing clean energy and circular economy sector.
The fresh capital will be used to expand the company’s battery recycling capacity, enhance its proprietary metal recovery technology, and strengthen its supply chain network across the country.
Founded in 2020, BatX Energies specializes in recycling lithium-ion batteries and recovering critical minerals such as lithium, cobalt, nickel, and manganese. These materials play a vital role in electric vehicle (EV) batteries and energy storage systems, helping reduce dependence on imported raw materials while supporting sustainable manufacturing.
As India’s electric mobility ecosystem continues to expand, the demand for efficient battery recycling solutions is expected to rise significantly. Companies like BatX Energies are contributing to a circular economy by enabling the recovery and reuse of valuable battery materials while reducing environmental impact.
