Titled “Vote for Date Change,” the campaign invited fans to visit www.panchayatvoting.com and cast their votes for either Team Manju Devi (Nena Gupta) or Team Kranti Devi (Sunita Raj war), mimicking the show’s central plot of a heated panchayat election.

A source close to TVF revealed to India Today that the overwhelming response to the campaign—coupled with the buzz following the Season 4 teaser release on May 3—prompted the makers to honor the fans’ demand for an earlier premiere. “The voting campaign was designed to reflect Panchayat’s core theme of community-driven decisions,” the source said. “Fans showed up in droves, and we’re thrilled to bring Phalera back sooner.”
