Snabbit Secures $5.5 Million to Revolutionize On-Demand Home Services in India

Mumbai-based startup Snabbit has raised $5.5 million in a Series A funding round led by Elevation Capital, with participation from Nexus Venture Partners and prominent angel investors including Vidit Aatrey, Sanjeev Barnwal, Gaurav Munjal, and Niraj Singh. This follows the $1 million seed funding Snabbit received from Nexus Venture Partners in early 2024.

The funding will propel Snabbit’s mission to redefine on-demand home services in India by offering ultra-fast and reliable solutions to households while empowering service professionals with consistent opportunities and benefits.

What is Snabbit?

Founded in 2024 by Aayush Agarwal, former chief of staff at Zepto, Snabbit connects households with trained professionals for essential home services such as cleaning, dishwashing, and laundry. The app guarantees a service professional’s arrival within 15 minutes of booking, providing unparalleled convenience for time-sensitive tasks.

What sets Snabbit apart is its full-stack operational model. The company handles every aspect of its workforce, from sourcing and training to management. This ensures quality services while offering professionals steady income, health benefits, and accident insurance—addressing long-standing gaps in the home services sector. Scaling Beyond Mumbai

Currently operating in select neighborhoods of Mumbai, Snabbit has already built a loyal customer base, driven primarily by word-of-mouth recommendations. The startup plans to use the new funding to expand its reach to other cities, strengthen its workforce, and enhance operational capabilities.

“With thousands of customers in a small serviceable radius, we’ve tapped into India’s immense potential for high-frequency home services,” said Aayush Agarwal, Founder and CEO. “We’re building a new category that combines speed, reliability, and innovation to address a growing demand.”

Investor Confidence

Manish Advani, Vice President at Elevation Capital, praised Snabbit’s hyperlocal approach and unique value proposition.

“Snabbit’s platform is a game-changer in the home services space. It offers quick, affordable, and high-quality solutions while addressing workforce challenges through a full-stack model. We’re excited to support them as they scale from Mumbai to a pan-India footprint,” Advani said.

Suvir Sujan, Managing Director at Nexus Venture Partners, highlighted the startup’s disruptive strategy. “By focusing on densely populated residential areas, Snabbit is creating a win-win model for consumers seeking reliable services and professionals gaining structured opportunities,” he said.

Shaping the Future of Home Services

With this latest funding round, Snabbit is well-positioned to lead innovation in India’s home services industry. By combining technological convenience with workforce empowerment, the startup is set to redefine how everyday tasks are managed in households across the country.

As Snabbit expands its footprint, it continues to build a scalable and sustainable model that transforms the lives of both consumers and service professionals.
